Thomas Fitch publishes his own literary journal

To great fanfare and celebration – as if to counter the tidings of recession, everyone hypes up the publication of the journal. Something like The Golden Era, the Occidental was an ambitious 8-page journal of short stories and poetry. the sagebrush school writers contributed material but Thomas got no advertisers and only printed one. Fitch was on staff at the Union but used TE writers along with Daggett and others.
