Sam dresses up for legislature

November 7, 2011 by fredgooltz

Sam wore a starched shirt, broadcloth coat, and polished shoes, top hat, cane – borrowed from a costume shop of the theatre. He was trying to get invited to social events. And it worked. Orion last saw him unkempt and drunk in vc. Orion was amazed. He was lionized by official wives, including his sister in law. Hewas invited to all the parties. Where he could not ply social connections for friendships to the rich and important, he filed away gossip to use later.
