Orion is named as a candidate for the Nevada State Assembly – they met to select a nominee for member of the US House of Representatives for the election to be held November 7th 1865 MT&OC pg 100 Orion read law and passed the bar in order to get his credentials in order for higher office, but he didn’t seem to believe he was going to win.
